Music Degree in Bagpipes available at Carleton University in Ottawa

Hello Pipers

  Carleton University is a long-established and highly respected university in Ottawa. It really put a smile on my face when I heard they offering a full music degree with the bagpipe as the primary instrument.  Finally, a Canadian university is regarding the bagpipe with the same credibility as the trumpet, piano, clarinet, etc. If this program had been offered when I was in High School I would have given it serious consideration.
