Pipe Bands Spring Fling in Trail, BC

We are getting closer to our Spring Fling 2024 , happening May 3rd and 4th , 2024. We are working on organizing a great weekend.
For those of you that have never attended a Spring Fling, it is a friendly competition that involves a parade (dress and deportment), a medley competition, a highland themed dance and a fun skit. There are awards presented at an awards banquet on Saturday evening for all of the components as well as an overall award for all combined components.
On Friday night there will be a Meet and Greet, May 3rd. It will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 in Trail (2141 Columbia Avenue). There will be a solo /duet competition and a meal for all those in attendance.
The Pipe Major’s Meeting will also be held at this time.
The Parade and Medley competition will be held in the downtown Trail on the esplanade on Saturday morning and afternoon. We will also have access to the Charles Bailey Theater if the weather does not cooperate.
The Dinner, Dance, Skits and Ceilidh will all be held in the evening at the Cominco Gym in the Cominco Arena.
