Remembrance Day in Vernon

Parade forms at 10 a.m. followed by the parade of veterans, first responders, cadets, cubs and scouts at 10:25 a.m.
The service will begin at 10:35 a.m.
A minute of silence will be marked at 11 a.m.
Remembrance Day is marked at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, signifying the end of hostilities in the First World War and signing of the armistice in 1918.
