Scholarships available for Winter Weekend
From Jack Lee:
I passed along the sad news to you back in November that our good friend, Gordon Titsworth, had passed away quite suddenly. His many friends from Piping Hot Summer Drummer were terribly saddened to hear of Gordon’s passing. We had enjoyed many tunes, laughs, refreshments and Bugaboo cinnamon buns at Piping Hot Summer Drummer over the years. Gordon had attended PHSD 12 times. He was a real friend and we sure enjoyed his company.
Another friend, Erin Anderson, from Portland has donated funds to support a scholarship in Gordon’s name. We (PHSD) have matched it. The Jack Titsworth family has also matched it. So, it is our pleasure to inform you we are able to provide THREE full scholarships to our Winter Weekend and Launch Pad.
Scholarship: J. Gordon Titsworth Memorial Scholarship (x3)
To: Both the PHSD Winter Weekend & Launch Pad (Feb 24-27/22)
Who: Any adult Piper, Drummer or Dancer
Intent: We want to help people who could use a hand. If you have no need of the funds, please do not apply. Help us use these funds where there is actually a need.
How: Send us your application by Emailing info@phsd.net.
Deadline: Feb 15, 2022
